Is Laptop Size That Important?

The question in notebook computers has become, “Does physical size really matter or is it more important to have a computing machine that allows you to fit all your productivity software and save as many movies as possible on your computer?” Another point here may be whether the smaller dimensions are more concerning or if the light-weight portability is the chief concern. I think the accessibility of different types of computers in today’s day and age lets us really personalize our business machines into something that works for us and doesn’t always have to be generic for all.

The production release of the new macbookair by Apple has really given us a selection with the size and weight and what kind of mobile computer we take around with us everyday. At less than 3 pounds and less than an inch thick, we don’t have to strain our muscles every time we walk to class. It has a 13 inch flat panel and a normal keyboard. Tell me where I can get it today! This is the very aspect I have been seeking.

When I first previewed the commercial for the MacBook Air with a slim, easy to handle computer coming out of that little envelope, small envelope, I was just stunned. Now, that’s the choice I’ve been looking for. Now it doesn’t have to be a workout to take my portable computer with me anymore! No extra bag that can weigh nearly as much as the portable computer, no more heavy lifting, no longer taking up more room than my suitcase! What a momentous occasion!

The frequently asked question of whether size is important is here now and my answer, when it comes to a miniature laptop is a booming, “yes, Yes, YES!” Size does matter as does weight. For me and my laptop smaller is by far and away better.
